대전 성북동/20201219
이번 주 내내 본격적인 겨울날씨였다.
20171207 처음 다녀간 후 네 번째 겨울을 나는 셈이다.
겨울철에 계속 성북동집에서 머문 것은 아니지만 첫 번째 겨울에는 전기도 없었으니 최악의 생활환경이었다.
그동안 지붕개량공사와 별채방 만들기와 주방 개조공사와 샤워실 개조공사를 해서 생활환경이 많이 개선되었다.
그래도 아직은 겨울에 생활하기에는 부족한 점이 많다.
겨울철이라도 맑은 날 햇살이 비칠 때는 지낼만하지만 구름이 낀 날은 하루 종일 추위를 견디며 지내야 한다.
하루 동안의 온도편차가 크다보니 더욱 추위를 느끼는 것이 아닐까?
전기난로와 전기장판 등의 난방기구가 있기는 하지만 이제까지 살면서 추위를 견디며 살아서인지 난방기구는 되도록 사용치 않는 편이다.
대전이 남부지방으로 출장을 다니기에는 서울보다 교통사정이 유리한 조건이기에 상당기간을 성북동집을 베이스캠프 삼아서 지냈었다.
조만간 초여름부터 시작된 업무상 지방출장이 끝나면 서울집으로 복귀할 생각이다.
아무래도 겨울을 나기에는 성북동집보다 서울집이 유리하지 않을까?
늘 살고 있을 때에는 몰랐는데 성북동집에서 살아보니 서울집은 생활환경이 천국이다.
겨울철에는 남천만한 것이 없다.

주방에서 인덕션이나 전자레인지를 사용하면 간편할 텐데 햇살이 나면 불을 피울만하다며....
이 불로 커피도 끓이고, 밥도 하고, 찌개도 끓이고, 고구마도 구워 먹는다.
