오늘 서울집으로 가야하는 날이기에 일어나자마자 월동준비를 시작하였다.

우선 본채 안방 창문의 외측 알루미늄 창틈을 단열재로 꼼꼼하게 막고 내측 목재 창 주변도 틈을 막은 다음에 졸대를 이용하여 비닐을 씌웠다.

본채 작은방 창문은 외측 알루미늄 창틈을 단열재로 막고 내측 목재 창은 그대로 두었다. 

주방수도는 사용가능하도록 수도꼭지를 제외한 부분을 단열재로 감쌌다.

아내는 노랑꽃이 피는 메리골드를 씨앗을 받기 위하여 데크 앞 처마에 매달았다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

통로 양쪽 꽃밭에 이웃에 사시는 누님이 씨앗을 받아 준 화초양귀비 씨앗을 뿌리고 물을 뿌려 주었다.

씨앗을 뿌린 다음에 물을 뿌려주어야 하는지는 모르겠지만 밤에 비가 온다고 하니 물을 뿌려도 괜찮지 않을까?

나중이라도 어디쯤에 꽃씨를 뿌렸는지 표시가 나도록 가느다란 금속 막대를 꽃씨를 뿌린 중앙 부분에 박아 놓았다.

 

 

 

마른 꽃이라도 꽃밭에 그대도 남겨두는 것이 겨울철에 황량한 느낌이 덜할까 해서 꽃대를 남겨두기로 하였다.

성북동집에 와서 촬영한 사진을 그때그때 블로그에 포스팅하려고 노트북을 사용하고 있었다.

둘째 날(1104) 촬영한 시진을 외장하드에 저장하려니 노트북이 고장이 나서 포기하고 있는데 WS이 PC를 가지고 와서 설치하였다.

어차피 오후에는 서울집으로 떠나야하니 이번에는 사용할 기회가 없겠으나 성북동에 있는 동안은 편리하게 사용할 수 있을 것 같다.

에그와 무선 와이파이로 인터넷 접속도 가능하고.... 

 

 

 

PC을 90도 돌려놓으니 그늘도 생기지 않고 책상 위도 넓게 사용 할 수 있겠다.

 

 

 

아주까리는 괜찮은 줄 알았는데 서리 피해를 입었다.

 

 

 

아무리 작은 애호박이라도 먹을 수 있는 것은 모조리 수확하였다고 생각하였는데 대문 위에 한 개가 있다.

식물들이 환경이 열학해서 살기 어렵게 되면 자손 번식 차원에서 꽃을 피운다더니만 날이 추워지니 호박 암꽃이 많이 피었다.

여름철에는 가끔 열리던 호박이 갑자기 많이 열리기는 하였는데 서리가 내리니 모두 허사가 되어버린 셈이다. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

서울집으로 출발하기위한 마지막 절차로 허수아비 윌슨을 비닐로 쌌다.

 

 

 

평소보다 늦은 16시가 넘어서 출발하기 전까지 월동준비를 하였지만 배롱나무를 지푸라기로 감싸는 작업은 하지 못하였다.

7박 8일 동안 머물던 성북동집을 떠나야 한다는 아쉬움이 남는다.

후배 박ㅇ석과 친구 강ㅇ덕네 집에 들러서 채취해 두었던 참취 씨앗을 전해주었다.

서울로 가기 위해서 진티고개를 넘어서 중세동에서 1번 국도로 들어섰는데 가을 단풍철이라서인지 길이 제법 막힌다.

교통흐름이 원활치 않아서 고속도로로 들어가지 않고 중간에 쉬지도 않고 올라오는데 아산호(평택대교)쯤 부터는 소나기가 요란하게 내린다.
