조금만 더 걸어가면 정상이지만 햇살이 너무 뜨겁고 배가 고파서 되돌아섰다. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

아내의 꽃 욕심은 끝이 없다.

  엊저녁에 급히 집을 나서는 바람에 밥솥에 있던 밥과 참치통조림과 밑반찬을 준비해 왔다. 이런 산중에서는 돈의 위력도 무색해 진다. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

태기산에서 가장 늦게 개설된 임도를 걸어 보았다.

태기산 정상 부근까지 갔다가 되돌아 나오는 길에 엊저녁에 잤던 장소에 다시 들렀다.

 

 

 

  우리 차는 비포장길을 많이 다녀서 하부가 심하게 찌그려지고 연료탱크도 제 용량이 들어가지 않는다. 높은 턱을 넘을 때면 신경이 쓰이고 밑바닥이 긇히는 소리가 귀에 거슬린다. 다시 차를 구입할 때에는 차체가 높았으면 좋겠다는 생각이다. 어지간한 턱은 넘어다녔는데 이번 태기산에서 만난 턱은 만만치 않다. 자주 다녔던 길이고 SUV 차량들은 거뜬히 넘는 턱이지만 결국은 높은 턱을 넘지 못하여 정상까지 오르지 못한 셈이다. 그러나 30년 넘게 운전하였지만 이번에서야 높은 턱을 원활하게 넘는 방법을 터득하게 되었다.
