서울 수명산 첫눈/20171124
대전 친구가 카카오톡에 올린 첫눈 치고는 많이 내린 설경사진을 보니 마음이 설렌다.
엊저녁 일기예보에서 눈이 온다고 했기에 잠자리에 들기 전에 창문 밖을 내다보니 가로등 불빛에 눈이 내리는 모습이 보인다.
어느새 왔는지 도로변에 주차한 차창이 덮여 있지만 많이 내리지는 않는다.
화단에라도 나가서 사진을 찍을까 몇 번을 망설이다가 잠을 청했었다.
초여름(20170706)에 수명산에서 늦게 피는 무감주나무의 꽃이 필 무렵 다녀오고는 이제야 수명산에 다녀왔다.
올여름 이후 계속되는 지방출장으로 수명산에 오르는 못하였는데 첫눈이 오고서야 다녀오게 되었다.
올 장마철 이전에 가뭄이 심하여 단풍이 곱지도 않고, 단풍들기 전에 나뭇잎이 그냥 말라버린다고는 하더니만 아직은 나뭇잎이 많이 달려있다.
팥배나무
그래도 팥배나무는 낙엽이 모두 져서 붉은 열매만 달려있는데, 찌르레기들이 아침 식사를 하는지 시끄럽게 지저귄다.
단풍나무 잎이 그대로 있다.
산딸나무 잎도 그대로 남아 있다.
귀룽나무
귀룽나무는 봄에 가장 먼저 잎이 돋아나기는 하지만 잎이 떨어지는 것도 빠르다.
언제나처럼 귀룽나무를 한 바퀴 돌면서 촬영하였다.
귀룽나무의 가운데 고목이 하늘로 쭈욱 뻣어 있을 때의 자태에 비하면 이제는 볼품없고 빈약해 보인다.
공원 관리하는 곳에서 고목으로 인한 안전사고의 예방을 위해서 잘랐다는데 아쉽다.
모감주나무와 산사나무
산사나무 열매
부근에 팥배나무 거목이 있어서인지 어린 팥배나무가 여러 그루 있다.
아직은 어린나무라서 인지 열매는 자잘하다.
수명산근린공원에서 집으로 오는 길에 있는 산수유나무인데 아직은 철이 이른지, 아니면 가뭄 때문이었는지 잎이 남아 있다.
지난주에 외출하고 돌아오니 아파트 화단에 있는 나무의 가지치기를 하면서 감나무 가지도 잘라버렸다.
과수원이 아니므로 생산량을 증대시킬 것이 아니라면 일부러 가지치기를 하지 않고 자연스럽게 자라도록 두었으면 좋겠다는 생각이다.
그런데 주민들의 대부분은 가지치기를 원한다니 알 수가 없다.
감나무 옆에 있는 벚나무도 싹둑 잘라버렸는데 봄에는 퇴비를 사다가 주고 가을에는 자르기가 반복되고 있다.
10년 넘게 창문 밖으로 내다보이는 감나무와 벚나무는 가지치기를 하지 못하도록 사정해서 위기를 넘겼었다.
해마다 가지치기 할 때마다 스트레스를 받았는데 올 해는 아내도 포기했다고 한다.
볼품없는 감나무가 되어버렸지만 감이 몇개는 남아 있으니 오늘도 참새가 와서 홍시를 먹고 간다.
또한 채소를 키우는 것처럼 화단에 나는 풀을 보는 대로 뽑아 버려서 들꽃 조차 볼 수 없게 하는데 이 또한 이해가 되지 않는다.
발코니난간에 매달아 둔 화분의 금잔화에도 첫눈이 쌓였다.
