대전 성북동/20190708
40년 넘게 직장생활을 하면서 출장이 아닌 출퇴근을 객지에서 해 본 것은 구미가 유일하다.
1980년대 말에 가족과 함께 대전으로 이사와서 몇 년 살았던 것을 제외하면 줄곧 서울에서 살았다.
대전으로 이사 오기 직전에 잠시 성북동 고향집에서 출퇴근을 하였었다.
벌써 30년 전의 일이다.
성북동으로 이사 온 것은 아니라도 자주 들락거리다보니 이제는 놀러 왔다기보다 '여기도 우리 집이구나' 하는 생각이 든다.
하기야 성북동 생활을 블로그에 포스팅할 때 예전에는 주제를 '국내여행'으로 올렸었지만,
이거 아닌데 하는 생각이 들어서 진작부터 '일상다반사'로 변경한 것도 같은 맥락이기는 하다.
오늘부터 계룡시로 출장을 가기 위해서 이틀 전에 식구들과 성북동집에 내려와 있었다.
서울에서 내려오는 출장팀과 만나기 위해서 느지감치 성북동을 출발하였다.
예전에 우리 논이 있던 진치(진티)를 거쳐서 세동리에서 국도 1호선을 이용하여 계룡산 입구의 약속장소로 떠나게 되었다.
드디어 오늘 집을 나서는데 30년 전 출근하던 기분이 되살아난다.
